How we handle your information.

Who controls your information

AgentReady UK, a founder-led review service based in Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, decides how the information described here is used. Mitchell Bancroft is responsible for it. You can reach us at info@agentreadyuk.co.uk.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, business name, website, business type, email address, and what you write to us. If you go ahead with an AgentReady Business Review, we also ask you to complete a short review intake covering business name, website, sector, location and service area, public profiles, services, customer type, and how your business currently uses AI. If you pay for a review, we hold the payment record and reference associated with your case.

Please do not submit customer records, children's information, employee records, medical information, passwords, financial details or other sensitive personal data. We assess your processes rather than your confidential records, so we do not need them.

Why we use it

We use it to reply to you, carry out the review you have asked for, take payment, and keep records for our own accounts and tax obligations. We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Our lawful basis, in plain English

When you ask us about a review or buy one, we use your information because it is necessary to deal with your request and deliver the service you have paid for. Where we keep records for accounts and tax, we do so because the law requires it. Anything beyond that, such as sending you occasional updates, only happens if you ask us to, and you can change your mind at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a review are deleted within 12 months. Review records, reports and intake answers are kept for 3 years so we can answer questions about work we have done. Records we need for accounts and tax are kept for 6 years, as required.

Who else may process it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business: website and application hosting, email delivery for our notifications and replies, and Stripe for payments. Stripe handles card details directly, so we never see or store your card number. These providers process your information only to provide their service to us. We will tell you if this list changes in a way that affects you.

AI assistance

We do not paste your private information into public AI tools. In preparing a review, AI tools may assist with research, organising evidence, preliminary assessment, drafting and quality checks. A named human then reviews and approves the final report before it is delivered to you, so no report is sent on AI output alone.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct something that is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, or object to how we are using it. You can also ask for your information in a portable form. Email info@agentreadyuk.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab). We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
